The 6th Annual Ghanta Awards concluded on May 15, 2016 at JW Marriott Mumbai, Sahar having the presence of Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak and Arshad Warsi.

The evening had a good turnout from the Bollywood and TV industry this year, in fact, some of them also turned up to collect their own awards. Manish Paul took the ‘WTF Was That! Award’ for his movie ‘Ranbanka’, while Arshad Warsi & Ashish R Mohan (Director) won the ‘Shit Nobody Saw Award’ for ‘Welcome to Karachi’. Other celebrities who graced the event were Maria Goretti, Parmeet Sethi, Shruti Seth, Karan Ashuman, Gizele Thakral, Rituraj, Darshan Raval, Ashish R Mohan, Sharib Hashmi and Sachin Gupta.
Shah Rukh Khan won the ‘Worst Actor’ award for ‘Dilwale’, whereas Sonam Kapoor was announces as the ‘Worst Actress’ for 'Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo / Dolly Ki Doli’, respectively.
As the evening progressed, Radhika Vaz got to table her edginess, the techie satirist Sanjay Rajoura added his quirk to Hollywood’s worst. While Neeti Palta had a spunky take on the worst of Bollywood, and Manan Desai promised to liven it up with his desi spoofy takes.
INvision Entertainment’s annual award show, 'The Ghanta' is a LIVE show fuelled by online voting by the audience. A panel of witty and distinguished judges along with the exciting online voting system recognizes the worst of Bollywood every year. The audience got to vote 14 categories representing the worst of Bollywood. Online voting went on till the eve of the grand night. Categories including Worst Actor, Worst Film, Worst Director, Wtf Was That and many more gave the audience the satisfaction of expressing their regret for watching this stuff, all in good humour of course!
