AForPineapple (AFP) recently executed the two-day Annual Sales Conference for IndoAsian in Kolkata. The marketing services agency strategically recommended the Vedic Village Spa and Resort to host the event featuring business sessions, product launches, workshops, awards, and entertainment. 

IndoAsian is a five decade old manufacturer and supplier of Electrical Power Distribution, Control & Safety Equipments. The brief for AFP was to conceptualise and execute an event that a) instill zeal and energy into the minds of the employees, b) implant a sense of ownership in their hearts, and c) introduce new policies to bring in efficiencies. The challenge was to develop a universal event theme that would ignite inspiration today, but also keep the employees motivated in future. 

Though the time at hand was frugal, AFP zeroed in on the theme - ACT NOW. This message had to be brought into action via varied experiences throughout the two-day agenda.

Accordingly, the action-packed agenda featured engaging business sessions, multiple products launches with a punch of innovation and technology, interactive workshops for the much-needed kick of teamwork, and external speakers to instill the fighting spirit. A studio also set was constructed to serve as the the ‘New Product Display Center, while the stage was set for the awards night and entertainment.

Ajit Singh, North Head, AFP said, “The real challenge was to launch multiple products on the same platform and splitting LED multiple times. With number of rehearsals and right teamwork, we were able to pull it off. The audience were awed when the Product launch was done using a Motorized LED split and a hydraulic platform on wheels along with multiple GFX effects.”

The glitzy awards night was hosted by  Shweta Lalwani with the guests treated to energetic performances by Acrobatic Dancers from the reality show ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’, followed by Bollywood Dancers. Fun and laughter took center stage when guests played ACT NOW games, and took selfies with wacky props. Photoboxi was used to showcase the ACT NOW acts. The 400 strong attendees also indulged in double large measures of singing, dancing and merrymaking till the wee hours of midnight.

To remind the audience of the experience and to keep the spirit of ACT NOW alive, a specially designed hourglass was presented as a memento.

The two-day event based on the theme ‘Act Now’ featured business sessions, multiple product launches, interactive workshops, a gala awards night, and entertainment.
