'So You Think You Can Dance' India Launch Event By Up On The Stage

'Up On The Stage' (UOTS) recently managed and executed the India launch press conference for the dance reality show, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, in Mumbai. The event vertical of ABSC Entertainment created a remarkable experience for &TV, the Hindi GEC owned by Zee Entertainment. Hosted on April 19, 2016 at JW Marriott Juhu, the press event was attended by over 200 media personnel.

Having won the brief to successfully launch the most sensational format to the Indian audience, UOTS emphasised on highlighting, establishing and integrating the concept in the event, thus making it distinct and impactful.

The evening was kept live by popular TV actors Rithvik Dhanjani and Mouni Roy who will also be the on-air hosts for the show. Set on a grand white and black stage, the dancers gave a glimpse of what street and stage dancing style is all about. While the stage dancers were clad in silver, the street dancers were dressed in golden attire. The highly energized group of dancers were choreographed by Bertwin D’souza.
As the evening progressed, the jury panel comprising of Madhuri Dixit, Terrence Lewis and Bosco Martis made a grand entry that left the audience on a high energy note.
Commenting on the launch, Stanley Khalkho, Senior Manager–Operations, Up On The Stage, said, “UOTS was responsible for an end-to-end planning and execution of the event, right from the stage of conceptualization to designing the entire communication, set designs to technical setup, entertainment and production.”
'So You Think You Can Dance’ is the reality show based on the concept of street vs stage, aims at providing a common platform to both the street and stage dancers to showcase their styles.
