The grand wedding celebrations of the real-life couple, 'Khushi Singh & Samir Chaudhary' were hosted from January 27 to 30 at The Grand Hyatt, Goa. Khushi, the Vice-President - Business Development of Percept Weddings, and Samir, Founder & CEO of The Neon Tree (TNT) kept their wedding as a very private and intimate affair, which was well-attended by Salim & Reshma Merchant, Rukshana & Mustafa Eisa, Maheka and Amrit Mirpuri, Nisha Jamwval, Bina & Talat Aziz. 

The 4-day gala wedding was shot by Dream Diaries and The Orange Booth, and Videos were filmed by Percept Pictures and Dream Diaries. Along with traditional rituals like 'Mehendi' and 'Haldi', the wedding also had fun elements for guests like Poolside Brunch, Dusk to Dawn Party and Beach Cricket Match and so on.   

The whole wedding was essentially reflecting their personalities as individuals and as a couple together. So the themes for each event naturally were inspired from their personalities. The ‘mehendi’, for instance, had a fun bohemian gypsy theme, while the ‘Sangeet’ was kept royal with a funky edge, featuring a lot of iridescent filament bulbs! 

On the other hand, the wedding was traditional, but clean where the ‘mandap’ overpowered the rest of the set-up. At the reception, the theme stuck to greens and whites keeping it elegant and minimalistic.

Food was an ongoing and amazing part of the wedding functions. 

The mehendi and welcome lunch had a wide spread of street food of the world including cuisines like Indian, Arabic, Lebanese, Turkish, Mexican, American, Italian and Asian.

The Sangeet had a focused but elaborate spread covering Indian and all Asian cuisines! The Poolside brunch had a lavish spread of hangover foods- American sliders, crab stations, finger foods, Japanese sushi rolls etc. The Wedding was over high tea where the guests enjoyed a mix of North Indian and South Indian - parathas and pakoras, dosas and idlis. It further had a fun mocktail bar and an elaborate tea and coffee station. The reception dinner focused on continental and European cuisine and gave the guests a Goan food spread coupled with some other coastal.

Unfolding the various ceremonies of the wedding, Khushi concludes, “The mehendi was my favourite – I planned every inch of the event, and it turned out just perfect! Vibrant, bohemian, outdoor with loads of activities, an array of street food from across the world, a dance floor out of a European music festival, the perfect amount of sunshine, wind blowing through the drapes and dreamcatchers, and the best music – all rolled into one! The Mehendi and Welcome Lunch truly resonated with our personalities as a couple, in every little way and was just ideal for me!”
