200 icons of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry convened at the ITC Maurya in New Delhi on March 31, 2016 to commemorate the first edition of the Iconic Awards. The aim of the awards property was to create a platform to recognize and honor the leaders of the industry with a special focus on their contributions to luxury.
The responsibility of executing the event from scratch was shouldered onto Brandwidth Events. The agency took care and management all the elements of the event beginning from the title, theme, to an end to end solutions, logo, designs, stage, and flow of the evening.
Following the pre event hype generated by a series of teasers and a formal invitation, the event was curated by Brandwidth on behalf of Red Hat Communications, with Madhya Pradesh Tourism, Outlook, ITC Hotels & Wonderlust as sponsors.
