'Tuscany For Weddings ' leverage #WOWAsia2016 to engage Indian Destination Wedding Industry

Over the past 8 years (7 editions), The WOW Awards has been the flagship platform and the largest gathering of the experiential, events and MICE industry in India. In 2015 the platform extended into a convention and was spread across 2 days. It also was open for participation to Asia. The success was tremendous, with a total engagement of over 900 top planners from across Asia.

Firenze CVB has partnered EPEX @ WOW 2016 with the aim of promoting Florence as a prominent wedding destination for Indian wedding planners. The convention bureau will be participating at EPEX @ WOW 2016 and sponsoring one destination wedding session and one destination wedding category. 

With the support of the Tuscany Region, the City of Florence and the Chamber of Commerce, FCB is a unique organization of its kind: a professional network capable of linking the public administration, private business and cultural institutions. The new division of FCVB Tuscany For Weddings offers a unique opportunity for all those who wish to organize a wedding in Florence or Tuscany. Florence and Tuscany are considered as the favorite destinations of the international market and Florence has in the past been host to some of the most important weddings of celebrities like Kanye West and Kim Kardashian or Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Wilkerson, to name a few.

The Experiential Planner Expo (EPEX) 2016 by tmf India, is co-located to the WOW Awards & Convention Asia, and will be India’s definitive MICE Expo. At 900+ delegates in 2015, it is already miles ahead in scale. Not to mention, a one-to-one meetings format for destinations to interact with planners at their exclusive table @ EPEX.
