Cement brand Ambuja Cement organised a ‘Waterless Holi’ for 1500 dealers on the occasion of Holi on March 21 at Rameshwar Farm, Ahmedabad. U&I Resources managed the event.
As part of the brand’s “Jal Hai Toh Kal Hai” campaign, the event kicked off with a special pledge ceremony in which everyone pledged to champion the cause of water conservation. The entire event flow was planned around the campaign goal. Further, a Rajasthani theme was used, and the celebration of the festival of colours was reflected in all collaterals and décor - right from the entry gate, a beautiful walkway with colourful rangoli, multi-color traditional seating, a mix of mattresses and cots, and various props. Rajasthani folk songs were played and dances performed.
On managing the event, Sandeep Modi, Director, U&I Resources Pvt. Ltd said, “It was an immense pleasure to manage the event for Ambuja Cement Limited. We have managed events for the company before too, but associating with a cause while working is what stood as a unique example for us which we would like to carry forward with our organization too.”
Talking about the event and how it took the campaign goals forward, Sanjay Gorakhia, Vice President (M), Ambuja Cement Limited said, “Ambuja Cement is a sustainable company and believes in protecting natural resources through its initiatives.”
Herbal colours were used throughout the event, encouraging more invitees to participate in the celebration. The artist selection was appreciated, as it successfully elevated the spirits of the audience, and got everyone in a festive mood.
Nilesh Hindocha, Zonal Head, Ambuja Cement added, “Festival celebrations are always with family and we believe our network is our family; that’s why we call it 'Ambuja Parivar, Anmol Parivar'".
The agency also executed a unique setting for guests away from the colours, where they were served Rajasthani delicacies. To add to the feel, the air was filled with the tunes of the musical instrument ektara, played by a street musician.
The event saw the use of waterless, herbal colours in which the brand pushed its ‘Jal Hai Toh Kal Hai’ campaign.
