Brandwidth Brings The Great McCain Circus To The McCain Annual Family Day

On March 12, The Great McCain Circus rode into town in honour of The McCain Annual Family Day, at Fortune Park DJ Avenue, Delhi. Around 75 employees with their families came together with the aim to do nothing, but unwind and have a delightful time together. The event was conceptualised, planned and executed by Brandwidth Events. To ensure that the gathering is a hit with not only adults, but children as well, Brandwidth came up with the universal concept of a circus. With circus being a fading notion, the aim was to evoke nostalgia and generate fascination among all.
Prior to the event, to generate anticipation and enthusiasm among the employees, the McCain office was decorated with colourful polka dotted balloons and circus posters. Unique teaser emailers were sent out all through the week to keep them excited about the upcoming event. To stay true to the theme, the invites sent out followed a circus ticket composition. They were accompanied by cupcakes in customised boxes for the young ones.
The lawn at Fortune Park was made to resemble a circus carnival. Colourful drapes, buntings, balloons, circus cut outs, graphic signage all contributed to the enormity of the set up. Floating acts like jugglers, magicians, stilt walkers, clowns added to the spirit of the day. With football, cricket, trampolines, badminton, hula-hoops, a vibrantly furnished play area was designated for the young ones. Many were spotted, amusingly running around with bubble makers as well. Caricature artists, face painters, balloon sculpture artists, pottery making were some of the many activities the children participated in with relish, while the adults enjoyed some light hearted cricket.
On the idea behind Circus theme, Pranav Kumar, Sr Manager, Brandwidth Events said, “From customised circus food stalls with candy floss and ice lollies to placing balloons in popcorn boxes as table centre pieces, we knew the little details would make the whole theme come together.”
The fun continued through the whole afternoon with Emcee Sahil Bajaj involving all the employees as well as their families in fun games. Some were made to dress up as clowns and make funny animal noises, some earnestly entered the caterpillar race, while some danced and recited nursery rhymes. Limbo was big win among all. Movie vouchers and chocolate candy hampers were distributed as gifts. Brandwidth also came up with the idea to give out cute “My Dad/Mom works at McCain” T-shirts to all the children as a memento of the merry day.
The highlight of the day was all the children wearing their special McCain t-shirts, dancing on stage to the tune of “Gangnam Style”, in synchronisation with their fathers and mothers.
The evening ended with a family karaoke session. Despite the bad weather the night prior, Brandwidth managed to pull off a delightful family day for everyone to revel in. It was a wonderful event with adults being reminded what it is like to be a child again, play and celebrate with their own young ones. The Great McCain Circus was an outstanding accomplishment of families coming together in love, peace and joy.
