In concurrence with this year’s International Women’s Day (Mar 8, 2016), Hero MotoCorp celebrated and saluted the spirit of womanhood with their Hero International Women’s Day Week held from Mar 7 - 11, 2016 at The Galaxy Hotel, Gurgaon. ‘Worldwide, women continue to contribute to social, economic, cultural, and political achievements and we have so much to celebrate about womanhood.’ - the Hero team carried forward this inspiring thought and shared their newly formed ideology of taking women to leadership positions through this week-long event.

Dedicated to Hero’s women employees, the Hero International Women’s Week witnessed fun loving activities, motivational sessions, talent exposition, panel discussions, and rewards & recognitions. The event was produced by Orange Events & Production Pvt Ltd.

The event began with a motivational session by Ashish Singh and Yasha Singh on Day 1, engaging the employees in team building activities throughout the day. Day 2 featured a panel discussion with two of the most successful women leaders of the country –  Anamika Bhargava, Sr. Vice President, Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. and Geetika Mishra, Associate Vice-President-Materials, Motherson Sumi.
