Puneet Gupta's Royal Themed Cards For Aza's Devangi Nishar Wedding in Abu Dhabi

Puneet Gupta Invitations Ritz-Carlton
Devangi Nishar, Director of the multi-label fashion store, tied the knot with Kolkata-based businessman Saharsh Parekh in a 3-day grand affair, held from February 18 to 21 at Ritz Carlton, Abu Dhabi.
The curtain raiser to the wedding, the formal invitation was a plush velvet trunk theme invitation, curated by Delhi-based invitation designer Puneet Gupta of Puneet Gupta Invitations.
When asked about the wedding card’s inspiration Gupta said, “The invitation was designed taking inspiration from Indian royalties and their travels. The invitation was a treasure trunk created in plush velvet and suede. The graphics were inspired by a royal entourage of camels as being the ship of the deserts of Abu Dhabi. Jewel elements and designs were further added at the trunk’s border for a regal Indian feel.”

The inserts were inspired by miniature paintings and symbolic elements representing the seven thematic functions that happened in a span of three days from ‘Krishna taal leela’ painting for the pool party to Buddha painting for the youngster's party.
Since the boxes were personalised with guests’ name, they could later be used as a jewellery or keepsake box as a wedding memorabilia.
