Tableau Flags Off Radio Mirchi Neon Run Co-Sponsored by Giant Starkenn & Mahindra in Mumbai

Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM Giant Starkenn Mahindra Tableau Experiential Marketing
Mumbai experienced its first-ever night run with Radio Mirchi Neon Run on the Mar 20, 2016 at BKC. Tableau Experiential Marketing was roped in to conceptualise and execute the entire event co-sponsored by international bicycle brand Giant Starkenn and Mahindra K1OO which was the official lead car. Other supporter included exclusive food partner Taco Bell, H2O partner Brijeel Aqua, medical partner Kohinoor, and Knowledge partner Striders. The event featured a 10K timed run which was also a qualifier for the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, 5K fun run, and a 2K family run.
Tableau managed everything from venue construction, staging & décor, lights, sound, & video, backstage management & artist hospitality, and event security to branding, artists, & entertainment on-route and inside the holding area. The property received a huge response with over 4500 registrations and participation. The unique run held after sundown was followed by a Neon after-party with DJ Suketu.

For the event, the concert area was turned into a neon party with neon graffiti walls, neon painted photo opt cut outs, neon painted bicycle and auto-rickshaw installations etc. Guests were provided Neon T-shirts to be worn during the run, while post run they were given neon glow sticks for the after-party. Neon face painting stalls were also set up , offering free tattoos for the attendees. Neon powder colours were also sprinkled on the everyone on the dance floor.

Speaking about planning and executing this exciting property, Sneha Kalbag Sharma – Founder and Director, Tableau Experiential Marketing LLP, said, “The agency’s role was crucial in creating an experience that differentiates Mirchi Neon run from the others to break the clutter. We are glad we were able to achieve this objective and create a unique experience for all the runners in Mumbai as well as from other cities who travelled all the way to Mumbai to participate in the Mirchi Neon Run.”
Radio Mirchi introduced their neon-themed night marathon in India during June 2015 in three cities of Tamil Nadu – Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai, where the runners took part in a 9.83 km run and a 3 km fun run for families.
