Sephora Opens Shop In Bangalore with Kriti Sanon & Toast On Board

Toast Events launched the first outlet of French beauty and cosmetics giant Sephora in Bengaluru on March 5. Building excitement in the city, a few weeks prior to the store opening, many enthusaistic Sephora fans lined up on the launch day at the city’s brand new beauty destination in Forum Mall Koramangala. Toast, as the official event partner, activated several touchpoints across key places in the city spreading the news of Sephora’s opening.

Commenting on the pre-buzz activities of Sephora’s Bengaluru launch, Pummi Khanchandani, Lead Client Servicing, Toast Events said, ‘This was our second back-to-back store launch for Sephora. The Mumbai launch was a great success with long queues and excited customers! The challenge was to recreate that excitement in Bangalore. What worked extremely well in Mumbai was the flash mob dance we did across the city. We carried that forward in Bangalore visiting several key touchpoints like bars, malls and open spaces. "

Toast also branded AC buses in Bangalore that travelled across the city spreading the news of the launch. A day prior to the event, an exclusive shopping preview and make-up experiential for socialties and influencers from Bangalore was hosted over sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres. 

The result of all the activties led to about 1000 people queing up outside the store. The electric energy and excitement reached its peak with the entry of Bollywood actress, Kriti Sanon, who launched the store amongst great cheer and festivities.

Sheetal Sharma, Barkha Mahtani, Youngkyung Lee, Saritha Mandoth, Ila Naidu, Madhuri Genomal, Kulsum Shadab, Sonia Alva, Vinita Chaitanya, Manjul Gupta and Mikkey Gupta were further seen indulging in some serious beauty therapies.
