Ranveer Singh Psych-Out @ Adidas Originals #NMD Launch in Mumbai

The launch party of Adidas Originals NMD was a star-studded affair that was hosted at NSCI’s Dome in Mumbai on March 12. The face of Adidas Originals (in India) Ranveer Singh played the perfect host by taking over the evening and the DJ console. Put together by Toast Events, the exclusive event was attended by media, influencers, fashion bloggers, fitness enthusiasts and celebrities at large. Ayushman Khurrana, Aditi Rao Hydari, Mandira Bedi, Rahul Khanna and Candice Pinto were also spotted at the launch.

An invite with a message in a bottle with Adidas branding was sent across to the guests. Similar motif was imbibed in the decor through a display of old Adidas shoes inside the bottle reminising the amazing journeys the owners have had with them. In addition, many other bottles included memoires and collectables belonging to nomads from across the country were also added to the display. Another installation was designed on a conveyor belt that displayed NMD shoes and other travel realted elements that were beautifully placed around it to communicate the core message of constantly on a move that is primarily propagated by the NMD collections.

The highlight of the party was the ever effervesent and energetic rockstar Ranveer who assumed his place as the DJ by taking over the music console and spinning his favourite tracks. He entertained the guests with his incredible rapping skills and dance moves. In addition, the use of stunning lights, decor, installations and display of psychedelic graphics gave tons of opportunities to that guests to have their phones out to capture all fabulous moments throughout the event.
