A joint venture between Raj Batra and SOI Live Marketing's Event Division has taken place, where both agencies have come together with the purpose of business expansion, development of new products and moving into new markets, particularly overseas. Golden Vibes Events is the result of a collaboration which has instantly provided both parties with a pan-India presence.
With SOI being an established player in the corporate domain and Raj Batra a known personality in the wedding planning industry, the new venture stems from a shared vision for the possibilities of event management, where this collaboration will allow both agencies to expand their capabilities and maximize their outreach.
On the broad goal of this merger, Raj K Batra, CEO & Director, Golden Vibes Events said, “This joint venture involves two businesses pooling their combined experience of almost 35 years, resources and expertise to achieve heights higher than before, sharing risks and rewards of the enterprise. The main objective is leveraging the increased bandwidth for faster growth, widening the market and exploring untapped markets.”
The agency will continue to expand their portfolio of diverse specializations and make it available to a growing client base. This merger will focus on knowledge transfer and training while equipping the group for more effective service. The aim is to increase the effectiveness of experiential marketing and Social events by using group expertise and knowledge. All clients of SOI Live's events division will now be handled by Golden Vibes.
One of the new focus areas of business following the merger is events for the international diaspora. Golden Vibes also looks to set benchmarks in delivery through cutting-edge creativity, innovation, value pricing, and practices and processes. It has already expanded its wings to all the metros across India, not just for weddings, but also for corporate events to be executed nationally and internationally. GV will be focusing more on its potential client base, whether it be large scale or smaller scale projects.
Batra added, “With greater capacity and increased technical expertise we aim access to established markets and distribution channels.”
While Golden Vibes is a pan-India event company, it recognises the potential of the Gujarat market and will continue to service this state. Batra noted, “This is a market which has not shown a diminishing trend. Against all odds, Gujarat stands on the top of the wedding market as people here are more travelled and exposed to trends worldwide. Gujarat is certainly a market with ample of business opportunities. Since last year, the market has witnessed a 20-25% rise in exploring local / destination Weddings. GV will certainly grab the opportunity of the growing market, and with its existing and combined resources to cater more than one wedding in a particular timeframe.”
SOI Live Marketing will continue with its other divisions of BTL marketing, brand activations, digital and IP. Raj Batra's former company Mosaic Events will now cease to exist, while all BTL business will be handled by SOI Live's BTL division.
