Brandwidth Events planned and executed Domino’s 1000th restaurant opening at Janakpuri on Feb 5. This was followed by the 20th year milestone celebration in the evening at Taj Palace, Delhi. The inauguration was a mix of Indian and Western flavours, and the gala evening was attended by a mix of industry veterans from the Food and Beverage Industry along with their global partners.
On the occasion, Murugan Narayanaswamy, Sr. VP- Marketing, Domino's Pizza India remarked, “To reach at 1000 in such a short span is a milestone and for Dominos it’s not just a number but a symbol of our ideas, innovations, insights and ingredients which would have probably been invested in the making of brand Domino’s India bigger & bigger geographically. Also, 2016 completes 20 years since welcoming our first guest and making our first home delivery and experiencing our first moment of jubilation. Team Brandwidth understood our thought and journey and helped us process and plan the ideas and execute them remarkably”.
On managing the event, Hrishi Raj, Senior Manager – Client Servicing, Brandwidth Events added, “Following the hype which was created in all the communication across all media channels, it was very important for us to make it a class apart affair. The bottom line which we kept in our planning was the celebratory mode where the idea was just to celebrate this extraordinary achievement with everyone. The marriage of both the thought lead us to achieve a unique experience for the consumers and CEO’s who celebrated this landmark achievement”.
Brandwidth engaged Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company to conceptualize the special act for the event. TLCDC came up with a celebration act featuring 12 dancers. This was appreciated by all guests. Emcee Sanchali Arora hosted the show.
The event also saw the launch of Domino’s Coffee Table Book by the Chairman Shyam S. Bhartia and Co- Chairman Hari S. Bhartia, along with Ajay Kaul, CEO - Jubilant FoodWorks Limited. The book is a reflection of what inspired them to get into this business, a remembrance of the early challenges, stories and incidents that have made Domino’s story in India exceptional.
Following the restaurant opening, a milestone celebration took place at Taj Palace, Delhi on Feb 5.
