CREAM Events curated a unique masterclass for Dr. Oetker’s FunFoods on December, 16 at Hoppipola, Todi Mills, Mumbai. The Consumer & Lifestyle team at Edelman Delhi has conceptualized the property targeting media and food bloggers. FunFoods also announced the launch of its first series of brand advertising campaign featuring brand ambassador, Sonali Bendre.

Due to the nature of the event one of the first challenges that Cream Events faced was shortlisting the right venue, however, different locations including Bungalow 9, Gallops, Tilt all Day, Aqaba & Hoppipola were considered. The client saw the experience pan out seamlessly at Hoppipola and as soon as the same was signed off, the agency began to turn around the event. The layout, merchandise, entertainment, anchor, engagement activities and scripts were all finalized over the 2 week lead up to the event.

The experience was planned such that the two distinct target groups could both be engaged exclusively through the day. The first half encompassed the TVC being launched for the media, and the second engaged food bloggers and other alternative media through a cookout with Sonali Bendre & Oliver Mirza, MD of FunFoods. Siddharth Kannan was brought in as the emcee to carry out the proceedings for both the segments.

The objective for the second segment was to get the participants to add magic with FunFoods products in a quick and convenient way. The desired result of the activity was to leave the participants inspired to experiment with their culinary skills every time they step in to the kitchen.  The guests were paired up in teams of two for the masterclass. The judges had a gala time tasting these unique food concoctions, before choosing the winning pair who won a mega-hamper of FunFoods products.

On the experience delivered by CREAM Events, Vikhyaat Bansal, Senior Brand Manager at FunFoods said, “It was an awesome experience to work with Cream events.”

Commenting on the success of the event, Khushnaz Daruwala from the Client Servicing Team of Cream Events shared, “The challenge with such quick turnarounds is to create short cycle iterations so that the client gets closest to what they want. In this case the client worked closely with us over the 2 weeks to make this event a big success.”

The masterclass held on Dec 16 in Mumbai presented a special Cookout with Sonali Bendre.
