Puneet Gupta Invitations

This season we saw a lot of freshness in ideas and creativity in invitations. Take a look at this super elegant Mughal Peacock Box wedding invitation produced by Puneet Gupta Invitations.

Gupta known for his experimentation with materials and new ideas got inspired by the vintage folklore of the enchanted forests during the Mughal era.

The box is about celebrating everything regale and larger than life. this large size velvet box with custom printed graphics by the designer looks classic yet fresh. the vintage patina green borders are reminiscent of the Raja Ravi Verma paintings.

Custom printed velvet and wood were the predominant materials used in manufacturing this invite. The colours used were Powder pink, mint green, gold gloss and floss pink.

The invitation graphics draw a lot of inspiration from the stone jalis used in the architecture of the palace venue. The peacocks add a mystic spell to the side wall of the box.  When opened, the box contains a wooden box chest with inserts and a set of four round metal boxes for sweets. the prints on the tins are inspired by the rich mirror work print of the dessert craft. The inserts looked pretty with delicate laser cut border.

Truly a blue blooded invitation for a Royal wedding in Rajasthan, don't you think!

Inspired by the vintage folklore of the enchanted forests during the Mughal era, the box is about celebrating everything regale.
