Bacardi EVC 2015 Allies With 'The Soma Project'; Announces Day-wise Roaster

Known as the festival of firsts, Bacardi Enchanted Valley Carnival will feature an underground music stage, programmed by homegrown techno brand, ‘The Soma Project’. Bringing some extraordinary talent to the festival, the brand is all set to program something spectacular during all 3 days of the festival. BEVC adds yet another reason for you to join the bandwagon from Dec 18-20 at Aamby Valley City, Lonavala. Known for his exclusive sunset sets, Simon Posford of Shpongle will be back - making his festival debut in India.

Speaking on this collaboration, Devraj Sanyal, MD & CEO, Universal Music Group, South Asia said, “I’m proud to introduce ‘The Soma Stage’ curated by my friends Karan Bhoj and Vic Lakhani. EVC has always aimed to be a multi- genre music festival and the addition of ‘intelligent global music culture sound’ is one step further in that direction. While we have global stages like Armada, it’s vital for India to have our own stages as well and I’m pleased to be the first festival to stand proud and open it up for our own talent.”

On the partnership, Vic Lakhani & Karan Bhoj, added, "The Soma crew is super stoked to be working with one of the finest teams in the electronic music / festival space. The festival has further announced the day wise line-up, along with hosting brand new stage identities - Cosmos, Pyro, Akva, Terra & Aero. Here’s the complete schedule:

Day one will see Noisecontrollers and Bass Modulators along with Indian Dubstep artists Nucleya & Sound Avatar. Thomas Gold, Ben Gold, Omnia & Ruben De Ronde will be breaking it down for all Trance lovers and ending the first day of the festival with a bang. Live at Saavn, which is a new addition to the festival will feature acts like Laxmi Bomb, Pratyul Joshi & Dhruv Visvanath.

Fatboy Slim will be headlining the second day of the festival. The ‘Eat Sleep Rave Repeat’ star who popularized the big beat genre in the 90’s will be visiting India after 3 years. Winning hearts all over the world with his Bunny dance, Oliver Heldens is all set for his maiden trip to India. The other acts in the House/EDM genre on Day 2 will include Far East movement, Nanok & Sartek.

Marking his second year with the festival, Ferry Corsten will not only be back but also curate a stage for all the Trance fans in India. Alex Morph, RAM & Marco V will be playing back to back sets at the Full On Stage. The other acts by the Soma Project will feature artists like GMS & Bullzeye.

Playing an exclusive set for campers, LIVE at Saavn stage will witness maestros like Kavita Seth playing alongside her son, Kanishk Seth. Other performers like Achint Thakkar, Samved & Coshish will add to the programming.

The last day will feature the super star, Tiesto, who will also be making his festival debut in India. Lost Stories and Shaan will also be playing back-to-back sets at the festival for the very first time. Techno marvel Dubfire will be setting the techno stage on fire with his phenomenal tunes. Be ready to be bowled over by ground-breaking performances by Shaded, Hobo and Kohra. The Soma project will further be showcasing some deep hypnotic sounds from Sashanti, Stefano Richetta & Steve Rachmand.

The last day at the LIVE at Saavn stage will feature acts by Hariharan & his son I-ZEN, Coshish, Faridkot & Fuzzculture. Keeping the tradition going, Arjun Vagale will be closing the festival at an after party with a raw Techno set.
