Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar

In spite of innumerable exotic options of destinations, Jagmandir Island Palace amongst other venues of HRH Hotels remains to be one of the most sought-after venues in the world and possibly 'THE' most sought after venue in India. These palaces still remain almost every bride's dream wedding backdrop.

In this edition of the 'Beyond Experiential Celebrations' series, the humble and extremely witty Prince of Udaipur and Executive Director of HRH Hotels, the very dynamic and charming Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar opens up and give us some rather intruiging and thought provoking responses to our very simple questions! Read on...

A Brand you splurge on?
It's called self-confidence. Makes everything look good,  goes with everything, fits every dress code. Everyone should try it.

Your De-stress ritual?
Sufi music and flying model airplanes.

Spa or Workout?
I don't believe in ors. Only ands.

An exploration/God given

Your favourite holiday spot?
Europe so far and yet to discover.

Movies or TV?
Depends on which movie and what size TV. I'm a fan of Sherlock.

Palkikhana. I get to make my own coffee just the way I like it. You just can't get that kind of service anywhere else.

Udaipur. In time and in space, always.

I wish there was such a thing called 'a regular working day'.

Simple binaries. Not a fan.

Your motto?
Jo Dridh Rakhe Dharma Ko Tahi Rakhe Kartar.
I don't have to think up a new one because this one has served my family pretty well for more than a millennium.
