RMAI Announces Flame Awards Asia 2016; Entries Invited from India & Other Asian Countries

RMAI RMAI Flame Awards Vivanta by Taj
The 7th edition of the Flame Awards has been announced by RMAI (Rural Marketing Association of India), to recognize excellence in rural marketing, promotion, and initiatives. For the first time, Flame Awards Asia 2016 invites entries from India as well as our immediate neighbours in the sub-continent. The awards presentation ceremony will be held at Vivanta By Taj in New Delhi on Mar 11, 2016.
Commenting on the announcement Sanjay Kaul, President RMAI said, “There are tremendous similarities in rural markets of India and our immediate subcontinent, especially SAARC countries. Flame Awards Asia 2016 would be an ideal platform and opportunity to showcase, learn and share some of the best rural marketing practices across this region.‘’
The jury for the awards consists of brand custodians, marketers, media/advertising professionals, and domain experts in rural marketing, from India and Asia Pacific. The entries will be judged through a 3-stage process. S Sivakumar, CEO ITC will serve as the jury chair for Flame Awards Asia 2016.
Concurrent to the gala evening awards presentation ceremony, RMAI will also host a one day conference, Digital dot Rural, to bring together forward-thinking marketers, innovators, entrepreneurs and technology players. The conference will explore new solutions to access rural markets and means to deliver rich consumer experiences. The focus will be on Mobile Marketing, Social Media and e-commerce.
