OPTUM Hosts First-ever Partner Summit for Vendors; Ropes-in Epic India For Execution

The 2015 OPTUM Partner Summit was held on Oct. 13 at the Leela Ambience in Gurgaon. OPTUM is a part of United Health Group, and provides information and technology enabled healthcare services to more than 125 countries across the globe.
From planning, conceptualizing the layout to providing adequate space to set up kiosks for vendors, all elements were managed by Epic India Tours & Events.
The summit was divided into various knowledge sharing sessions by top technology-driven business partners like Magna InfoTech, HCL, Mahindra Infotech, HTC, ITC Infotech, Tek Systems, Technosoft, Qualfon, Infinite, Artech, GSS, GAVS and Collabera.
The day commenced with an enlightening talk on the future prospects of ‘Optum Global Solutions’ in the emerging markets. Their goals for 2016 in terms of technology and operations followed by booth and partner showcases in the exhibition area. The senior management then spoke about the scope and opportunities of United Healthcare in India.
The summit continued with a session on ‘Global Labour Market Trends by KPMG’, while HCL presented a discussion on ‘Transforming Healthcare through Digitization, Analytics and Collaboration’. The evening concluded with dinner and cocktail over networking for all guests.
Customized designer bags from Hidesign were given to the vendors and partners. An innovative feedback form with unique code was inserted in the personalized bags to collect feedback on the event and the key takeaways from the Partner Summit. To conclude the summit, wooden photo frames were given as mementos to the attendees.
The one-day summit was mainly for the IT Healthcare services brands to engage with vendors as well as for various technology partners like HCL and Mahindra, amongst others.
