Video: A R Rahman's 'Dhakka Laga Bhukka' recreated for NH7 Weekender

A R Rahman, who will be headlining the NH7 Weekender music fest in Delhi, has recreated his hit number 'Dhakka Laga Bhukka' from the Mani Ratnam movie 'Yuva'. The festival's rendition features the Oscar-winning musician himself alongside Karthik, Vishal Dadlani, Papon and others on the vocals.
The music video on Youtube, titled 'The untamable spirit of Bacardi NH7 Weekender 2015', is a sneak peak into this year's lineup. The festival features major global names including Mark Ronson, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Flying lotus, Mogwai, SBTRKT along with some of the best artists from the current Indian independent music scene such as Baiju Dharmajan Syndicate, Parikrama, The Raghu Dixit Project, and others.
The track has been produced and arranged by Ranjit Barot and features Nucleya, rapper Naezy, Rodrigo y Gabriela on acoustic guitars, Warren Mendosa on lead guitar, Niladri Kumar on Zitar, Mohini Dey on bass, and Rahul Hariharan & Jai Row Kavi on drums.
The hit number from Mani Ratnam's 'Yuva' has been adapted for the music fest with musicians like Karthik, Vishal Dadlani and Papon on vocals.
