The second edition of Coca Cola Indian Premier Tennis League presented by Qatar Airways is scheduled to be held from Dec 2 - 20, 2015. Qatar’s national carrier has announced a three-year long partnership with the event that features world’s leading tennis players. Aiming to reach audiences in over 150 territories across the globe, the league has also partnered with some of the biggest global sport broadcasters including ESPN, Fox Asia, Sky Sports, TV5, WOWOW, Eurosport, Tennis Channel, Star Sports and Abu Dhabi Media Group.

Commenting on the association, Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Hugh Dunleavy said: “It gives us immense pleasure to announce our three-year partnership with the International Premier Tennis League. The overwhelming response the league received last season showcases the interest of Asian tennis fans in the region and the success of this format and the partnership with IPTL reinforces our commitment to be associated with large-scale sports events and sports legends.”

On behalf of IPTL, founder and India’s Grand Slam winner Mahesh Bhupathi said, “Qatar Airways has an enviable portfolio of global sports events. This year’s edition of IPTL will see five franchises –The Micromax Indian Aces, OUE Singapore Slammers, UAE Royals, Philippine Mavericks and Japan Warriors competing to be the league champions. The teams feature Grand Slam champions, current and former world number one players, and other top tennis talent from across the world.
