Ferriswheel Entertainment’s exclusive Bollywood Show was presented at the Seychelles India Day held from Oct 2 - 5, 2015. The performance was showcased during the closing ceremony on Oct 5, in the presence of a 10K strong audience including the chief guest and India Seychelles Community brand ambassador, A R Rahman. Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Indian Union Minister of Tourism & Civil Aviation, Seychelles President James Michel, Vice President Danny Faure and many other dignitaries were also present at the event.

The exclusive production by Ferriswheel features the idyllic view of India in true Bollywood style - dance, music, crowds grooving to Bhangra beats et al. Shubhra Bhardwaj, Founder and Creative Director, Ferriswheel Entertainment believes the show to be “not authentic India, but it is how Bollywood interprets it.”

Ferriswheel has been asked by the Indian government to work with them on different diplomatic platforms. The Ministry of External Affairs needed a big show for the opening of Shanghai World Expo in 2010. The Ferriswheel show was then produced in association with the Government of India and the Indian Trade Promotion Council. The opening night had received a standing ovation from over 8,000 people and made it to the front page of the Shanghai Daily. Since 2010, the production has sold out over 300 shows across the globe in countries like China, Europe, the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Egypt, Turkey, the Maldives, and Japan.

This year, Ferriswheel India’s Bollywood production had a successful commercial run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Shubhra won the Asian Arts Award for the Best Director for the show.

The exclusive production was presented at the Stand Popiler Stadium in Seychelles, during the closing ceremony of the event on Oct 5.
