The groundwork continues to be laid for India to the host the Under-17 World Cup in 2017, which provides a massive push for infrastructure development and youth development systems. There is much to discuss at the India Football Forum 2015.”
Talking about the association with the football forum, Deepak Choudhary, CEO and Director, Event Capital, added, “This unique event presents an opportunity for us to engage the key stakeholders of the fast emerging Indian football business. Even though India is considered to be a late entrant in popularising the game of football, the investments in the game over the last couple of years by Reliance and Star India has shown the potential and planted seeds for the future. We hope to have discussions on how the management of the game can be brought up to world standards, so that all the stakeholders of the game – investors, sponsors, players and the fans – make the best out of it.”
