Adidas Jagran Solutions Bengaluru Marathon
The ground activation of the latest Adidas footwear was conducted as a part of the Bengaluru Marathon Expo, held at Koramangala Indoor Stadium from Oct. 15 - 17, 2015. Experiential marketing solutions provider and brand activation agency Jagran Solutions managed the event, which was a precursor to Adidas’s association with the Bengaluru Marathon held on Oct. 18, 2015.
The activation was primarily aimed at promoting the new Boost range from Adidas, while the underlying theme was to create awareness about healthy running. Right posture and technique can help runners avoid injuries. At the activation, visitors at the booth and marathon participants were offered Gait Analysis and Foot Diagnosis with special testing equipments. A selfie contest #boostbengaluru was also organized. Participants were asked to guess a target time for the run and post their photographs with the promotion hashtag. A pair of Boost running shoes were the prize.
The booth saw an overall footfall of 8000 through the 3-day activity, while 3000+ participated in the selfie contest.
Pawan Bansal, COO, Jagran Solutions said, “We were entrusted with the responsibility of design and execution for this project and the end result has not only been appreciated by the participants but also the client. Executing this in less than 48 hours shows the execution capability of Jagran Solutions. The structure came out as a highlight of the expo.”
A representative from the Adidas Running Business unit commented, “The execution was handled very well in terms of the finish and adherence to timelines – the concept was brought to life with excellent finishing of the mirrored acrylic wall. End Consumer Engagement at the pavilion was excellent, with the Foot Scan setup that was arranged by Jagran Solutions, as well as space-efficient setup of the gait analysis. The ‘Get your Target Time Clicked’ activity saw over a thousand direct impressions and many more social impressions”.
