Ferriswheel wins multi-agency pitch for Diu International Festival

Ferriswheel Entertainment Diu International Festival
Ferriswheel Entertainment has won the open national tender for the Diu International Festival. With over 140 shows and 300 artists, Diu International Festival will be the longest beach festival in Asia. Set to take place from December 2015 to Feb 2016, this festival will have a unique format with different artists performing to different themes every week. It will simultaneously focus on jam sessions, concerts, literary and art programs, workshops, community outreach programs and carnival.

Following the win, Shubhra Bhardwaj, Founder and Creative Director, Ferriswheel Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., who recently also won the Best Director's Award at the Asian Arts Award in Edinburgh said, "With Diu International Festival, our aim is to put Diu on the world map as a global destination for culture and festivities. We have already begun our work to make this festival a spectacle, which will continue to attract masses from across the globe. We aim to re-create the Isle of Calma into a culturally enriching hotspot for both locals and tourists."
With competition from more than ten agencies in the country, Ferriswheel emerged as a winner basis its expertise in molding content, art and technology together. The agency will be responsible for creating a spectacular work of visual art by managing all the aspects of the festival including 75 days of programming and content providing, large scale operations and venue handling, and production and logistics.
Artists at the festival will include Kailasa Band, Milind Soman, Vir Das, Indian Ocean, Hard Kaur, Neeraj Shridhar, Asia Elektric, Benny Dayal, and Darsheel Safary, among others.
