Executive Events Manages WPA Regional Congress 2015

Executive Events World Psychiatric Association Le Meridien Indian Psychiatric Society

The World Psychiatric Association (WPA) Regional Congress was conducted from Sep. 25 to 27 at Le Meridien, Kochi. This medical conference was organized by the Indian Psychiatric Society and IPS Cochin Local Branch and was managed by Executive Events. More than 1000 delegates from various countries participated. The event was inaugurated by chief guest Justice P. Sathasivam, Governor of Kerala.

The conference featured plenary sessions, symposiums, lectures, workshops and poster presentations on various topics with the theme ‘Mind, Body and Culture’. A number of pharmaceutical stalls were also put up for three days for WPA Conference.

Speaking on the occasion, Raju Kannapuzha, Managing Director, Executive Events said, “This is the first time World Psychiatric Association conducted a regional congress in India. As the demands were high, our event crew had to work hard to meet the delegates’ and organizer’s expectations.”
