CTC 2015 engage4more NDTV Corporate Talent Championship
After almost 6 months of regional rounds across 14 cities, with over 15,000 participants pan India, the Grand Finale of the 2015 edition of Corporate Talent Championship (CTC) by Engage4more concluded on Sep. 19 at Sahara Star, Mumbai. The event was judged by film director Subhash Ghai, the lead judge; singing sensation Leslie Lewis; and choreographer Ashley Lobo. With 4 categories – dancing (solo and group), singing, music and theatre, the Grand Finale saw top finalists compete. The show is presently being televised on NDTV Prime from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Oct 6 to 8; and from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Oct 6 to 9
On the occasion, Nishant Parashar, Director and Founder, engage4more remarked, “CTC is the perfect example of employee engagement taken to a different level altogether! Next year we will be back with more surprises. The highlight and the most awaited part of this season’s CTC was the Spirit of CTC Trophy, which was awarded to Titan. Their story is one that inspires many. They truly are an example of what the Spirit of CTC is all about!”
In addition to performances by participants, the show also witnessed special acts by the Danceworx team and a beatboxing duo who were participants in previous seasons of CTC. A musical bonanza with Priyanka Negi, recent Indian Idol finalist and a performance by the Tushar Jules band were also part of the entertainment.
More than 120 companies participated in CTC this year. The championship had 3 rounds. In the first round, auditions took place in 150 in offices across 33 cities. The next round was the Regional Finales which took place in Mumbai (for participants from Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa, Baroda and Nashik); Delhi (for shortlisted contestants from Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Haridwar, Roorkee and Dehradun); and Bangalore (for Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Vizag, Ballery, Kochi and Ernakulum). Winners from these regional rounds competed in the India Finale.
Over the last 3 years, engage4more has established CTC as a platform to showcase hidden talent and give expression to the passion that has taken a backseat with the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Participants are drawn from companies in various sectors including banking, IT, Pharma and more. Some of these companies include JSW, Mahindra, RBS, Reliance, McDonalds, Capgemini, and Apollo tyres.
The recently concluded event is presently being televised on NDTV Prime.
