Brandwidth launches the first Maserati Showroom in India

On Sept. 19, India joined the exclusive world of the Italian luxury car manufacturer, Maserati, with the launch of its first showroom in New Delhi. The event; planned, organised and executed by Brandwidth Events, reflected the Maserati glory. The evening affair aimed to bring together the consumer and the exclusive cars in a dramatic yet elegant and stylish setting.
Brandwidth converted the beautiful Mathura road facility into the venue, bringing alive the elegance, style, sportiness and glorious heritage of the brand by creating ‘The Gallery Maserati’. “Our aim was to create an event that would allow consumers to experience the grandeur of the showroom and be up close to the cars/” said Aditya Sibal, Director – Client Servicing, Brandwidth. “We wanted to create a lifestyle event that steered away from the conventional showroom launches; hence we came up with the concept of the gallery”, he added.
Representing the entire range from the Maserati family of cars were the Quattroporte, the Ghibli, the GranTurismo sports coupe and the GranCabrio cabriolet, each displayed in a manner that would showcase the cars as pieces of art. The gallery also had a montage of portraits depicting the legacy of the brand along with a history wall that showcased the evolution through the years.
“Our biggest challenge was the space. Unlike a regular ballroom, working in a pre-made space can cause certain constraints” said Sibal. "However, being well acquainted with the showroom and its layout, the team managed to highlight some of the beautiful aspects of the showroom profoundly." Brandwidth wanted to create a dramatic opening for the showroom, owing to which the balcony area was converted into a stage for a theatrical opening to the night.
“This showroom is very special to us…” said Anand, MD of AMP Group. “With a brand as grand as Maserati and a showroom as beautiful as ours, we wanted the revelation to be befitting to the momentous occasion and we are very glad that team Brandwidth managed to create an exciting revelation. The sequence was indeed exciting and well-orchestrated”, added Anand.
The showroom was prudent and well thought out. The in-lit tables and the LED walls added a nice touch to the ambience. The grazing table and the Italian chocolate bar was an explicit hint of 'India meets Italy'. Together it all fit perfectly within the flow of the event, which carried on till the wee hours of the night.
The new dealership is a 3S facility modelled in line with Maserati global standards. It combines both sales, aftersales service and parts facilities. The facility also features a customer lounge that takes one through the history of Maserati and a configurator area where customers can customize their cars. The company claims that the sales and service personnel are internationally trained.
Maserati announced its re-entry into the Indian market earlier this year. The brand will soon be opening dealerships in Mumbai and Bangalore as well.
