Showtime Group wins Gold at the Pinnacle Awards 2015, USA

Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards 2015, USA has honoured Showtime Events, New Delhi with a Gold in the Best Event to Benefit a Cause category for its IP, Jodhpur One World Retreat 2015. Organised by the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA), the 20th Anniversary of the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Ceremony took place on Sept. 21 and was held at the IFEA’s 60th Anniversary Convention & Expo, presented by Haas & Wilkerson Insurance, in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A. from Sept. 21-23.
Some of the other contenders for the top slot were Des Moines Arts Festival, Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build, Edison Festival of Light, Building for America's Bravest, and Galloway Family of Dealerships.
This is not the first time that Showtime has won at the Pinnacle Awards. Past wins include Gold for BMW Xperience in the Best New Event category (2012) and Silver for Hero Insolito in the Best New Event category (2014). Like last year, Showtime is also the only agency from India to win at the Awards.

Winning entries came from organizations as diverse as the 500 Festival, Indianapolis, IN; the Des Moines Arts Festival, Des Moines, IA; the National Archives, Washington, DC; the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, Pasadena, CA; the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, Mount Vernon, WA; SunFest, West Palm Beach, FL and the Edmonton Heritage Festival in Edmonton, AB, Canada. International contenders included Destination NSW in Sydney, Australia; Ludwig Van Beethoven Easter Festival in Krakow, Poland; the Singapore Garden Festival, Singapore; RedFilo Events in Abu Dhabi, UAE; Showtime Events; New Delhi, India; Festival Lent, Maribor, Slovenia and the Gimje Horizon Festival in Gimje City, South Korea.
Awards were handed out in 68 different categories in total including Best TV Promotion; Social Media Site; Commemorative Poster; Overall Sponsorship Program; Green Program; Educational Program, Children’s Programming; Media Relations Campaign; Overall Merchandising Program; Festival & Event Management Degree Programs to the highest award given by the IFEA in recognition of those Festivals and events who have a balance of all the elements necessary to ensure a successful event – the Grand Pinnacle.
