On Sept. 9, Smaaash Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. unveiled India’s Test Captain Virat Kohli as the ‘Smaaash Youth Icon’ for its chain of sports-centric interactive entertainment and gaming centres across the country. As part of his role as the youth icon, Kohli will drive Smaaash’s vision of redefining entertainment and sports engagement amongst the youth today.

Kohli further announced the launch of the ‘Lloyd presents Smaaash CyberHub Corporate Cricket Challenge’. The challenge invites corporates in Gurgaon to form a team of 6 (5 players + 1 substitute) and participate in the tournament to be held in at Smaaash and DLF CyberHub. The challenge is about showcasing batting skills by facing the legends like Wasim Akram, Sachin Tendulkar, Shoaib Akhtar, Shane Warne, etc. and scoring maximum runs as a team. The challenge went live on Sept 9, and will continue till Nov. 1. The winning team will receive their awards from Kohli, sponsored by Fanatic Sports, and an all sponsored trip for the T20 World Cup finals to be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in April 2016.
