The Human Education Network Digital Marketing Workshop THEN Aerocity Hotel IBIS

The Human Education Network (THEN) conducted the Digital Marketing Workshop on August 21 and 22 at the Hotel IBIS, Aerocity, New Delhi. The workshop was attended by 35 people drawn from the experiential marketing, advertising, publishing, and PR industries. The objective of the two-day workshop was to equip participants with an understanding of digital marketing methods and their appropriate and effective use in the marketing mix. The emphasis was on developing fundamental concepts together with practical skills. While this was the first such workshop, the organisers plan to replicate it at regular intervals in different cities.

Two speakers conducted relevant sessions, while a panel discussion preceded the workshop on both days with the aim of providing industry insights. Panelists were drawn from the experiential, IT, HR, publishing and mall management industries and included Sanjeev Pasricha, CEO, CS Direkt; Asheem Tapadia, DGM - Digital Marketing, IBM India; Priti Khanna, Chairperson, MCI; Rahul Krishna, MD, Carre4fre; Rahul Varandani, Digital Specialist, India Lead, Sapient; Jitendra Rajora, Head - Digital Strategy, Jagran Solutions; Naveen Gupta, Founder Director, We MediaWorks; and Samiksha Dewan, Head – Digital Marketing, Select City Walk, Delhi.

Upon successfully executing the event, Deepak Madan, Founder Director, THEN said, “It is our vision to conduct short and long term professional programmes and this was the first step towards it. We are very happy to have successfully conducted this workshop".

The event saw participation from the experiential agencies including We Media Works, Show Works, Bellset Entertainment, EON Event Network, and Excellent Entertainment Networks, as also from other organizations such as MCI, The Outlook Group, Jagran Group, Artsana Group and Apeejay Education Society.

On managing the workshop and the response to it, Sanjeev Sareen, Head, THEN said, "The workshop was planned and executed in a short time frame. We are thrilled that the participants were satisfied and are looking forward to similar initiatives from us in the future".

The event saw participation from agencies including CS Direkt, Jagran Solutions and Show Works.
