Hamleys engages consumers in Chennai with a Guinness World Record Event

Hamleys Kesava Kirupa Guinness World Record Rubik's Cube


On August 2 Hamleys hosted a ‘Guinness World Record Attempt’ for Kesava Kirupa at Hamleys Chennai outlet. Kesava from Chennai is the winner of 9 international Cubing competitions organized by various Universities in India and has also held 2 National records - 3x3 Rubik’s Cube Average and the 4x4 Rubik’s Cube Average. He has been awarded the “Best young Cuber of 2014”.

Hamleys has extended Kesava support, so he could attempt a ‘Guinness World Record’ for the 'Most puzzle cubes solved in one hour 3x3x3'. The previous record was held by Thomas Watiotonna from France in 2013 by solving 210 puzzles in 1 hour. Puzzle prodigy Kesava broke this record by a huge margin by solving 293 puzzles in 1 hour! His next target is to win the World Championship to be held in 2017.
