Magnetic Fields is an independent festival that was founded by artists for like-minded people. It is produced by Wild City, WeThePPL, Undercover Agents, THOT and Alsisar Mahal. The third edition of the three-day music and arts festival will take place from December 18 to 20 at Alsisar Mahal, a 17th century palace-turned-hotel.
The festival, like last year, will be limited capacity, and promises to be an immersive, curated experience. Tickets and accommodation packages will go on sale Aug. 10 onwards on www.magneticfields.in.
The festival is a sensorial delight, with stargazing workshops, morning yoga sessions, art installations and wandering poets that wrote haikus on the spot, dawn-breaking parties with kite-flying sessions, a treasure hunt with an attractive booty alongside performances by more than 40 artists from all over the world.
The theme will extend to a variety of carefully constructed spaces including the two main stages – the North stage (night stage) and the South stage (day stage). The music on the North stage is programmed to go on till late into the night and for those unwilling to call it a night, the fest also features dawn-breaking, pop-up parties throughout the weekend.
The treasure hunt, for most attendees, is an integral part of the Magnetic Fields experience and 2015 will see the hunt become bigger and grander. The Desert Oasis Disco, which made its debut last year, will also make a return. More details will be announced in the coming months.
The three-day music and arts festival will take place on Dec. 18-19-20 at Alsisar Mahal in Rajasthan.
