Tata Docomo organises 'Family Fiesta' for Pune employees

Livewire Events and Promos managed a week-long Family Fiesta for Tata Docomo in Pune that ended with a ‘Grand Retro Metro Theme Night’ on July 11. This event was attended by more than 350 people, all Tata Docomo employees and their families.

The agency won the mandate to manage the event following a multi-agency pitch. The brief given was to create an impact with employees, giving them a sense of pride. Managing the event included selecting a venue and planning all activities.

Elaborating upon why the agency was selected, Raghav Roy Kapur, Director, Livewire Events and Promos said, “We won the pitch based on our concepts and cost-effectiveness. They were looking for a fresh, new approach for the event and wanted a well-established, reliable agency who they could trust to manage this project. The challenge with this event was that there was a very short turnaround time.”

The celebration was preceded by a pre-event phase with thematic collaterals and communication unfolding each day. The entire week before the main event saw auditions for employees, who were given the opportunity to showcase their talent dancing and singing. The main event had a carnival area with fun activities and experiences including a photo booth with retro props, caricaturists, and more. In addition, there were performances by employees and their families, including a Retro to Metro dance act specially choreographed for the event. The highlight of the evening was a performance by the pop band Lambada.
