McCain Organises Annual Sales Conference for Employees

McCain Foods India organised a three-day Annual Sales Conference for their employees at the ITC Mughal, Agra from June 30 to July 2. The entire event was conceptualised and executed by Brandwidth Events in association with Adiona Travels. Almost 200 employees from across India attended the conference.
Remarking upon the agency’s experience doing work for McCain, Aditya Sibal, Director – Client Servicing, Brandwidht Events said, “It was a great experience working with the team. We have done many such Annual Conferences. But working with the McCain team has always given us a sense of satisfaction with the work we do. It has been great executing the second year of their conference and we hope to continue doing so in the years to come”
McCain had briefed the agency that it wanted the event to highlight the concept of “Change”, focussing not only on organisational change, but also on change in the lives of each individual part of the organisation. So continuing from last year’s theme, “BE THE CHANGE – Good to Great 2.0, 2014”, the agency came up with the theme, “BE THE CHANGE – Good to Great 3.0, 2015”.
After all employees attending the event had gathered at Delhi, they travelled via road to Agra. Four registration corners were set up at the destination to ensure smooth check-ins. All activities were in keeping with the theme. A team-building CSR initiative “Share a Smile” was executed in collaboration with an NGO, where a school-building that was in a run-down state was revamped.
Employees were divided into 7 teams of 26 members each, and were allotted specific tasks to be completed in 3 hours. In addition, a library was set up, with books donated by Vikas Mittal, MD, McCain Foods Pvt. Ltd. The first evening witnessed a night with DJ Nautiyal and DJ Rahul. Talking about the success of the event, Aparajita Das, Team McCain, said, “The entire McCain team was seen on the dance floor. The night couldn’t have been any better for them”. Following the conference on Day 2, a Mughal-themed party was organised where awards were handed out to employees. ‘McCain’s Got Talent’, a talent night featuring performances by employees. Later that evening, the band Desi Roots performed, after which a DJ took over while employees partied till 5 in the morning. The third and last day of the event saw a visit to the Taj Mahal.
