Percept Sports & Entertainment (PSE) executed the 62nd Britannia Filmfare Awards South 2015. The gala awards ceremony was held in spectacular style on June 26 at the sprawling Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

PSE’s scope of work encompassed executing the entire ground event including the décor, stage, sound & light, audio visual, permissions, etc. Given the scale of the event and the calibre of the high profile celebrities attending the show, PSE seamlessly handled the massive task of effectively managing the entire venue and celebrity security inclusive of bouncers, cameras and backstage crew coordination. The designs and decor created by the agency exuded sophistication and elegance which is synonymous with the Filmfare Awards.

The awards property, which has been considered as one of the most prestigious film awards ceremonies of the country, witnessed the gathering of stars from all the four South Indian film industries, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The event saw leading stars including Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Dhanush, Radhika, Anirudh, Shruti Haasan and Jyotika walking down the magnificent red carpet.

The show was hosted by the dynamic star couple, singer Chinmayi Sripada and actor Rahul Raveendran. Seven vibrant entertainment performances choreographed by Satish from the Flyres Dance crew set the stage afire. Popular actresses of South Indian Cinema, including Tamannah, Nikki Galrani, Parul Yadav and Shamna Kasim performed on stage to trendy film songs from all the South film industries. The evening saw 55 awards handed out with many prominent actors, directors, producers and technicians of South Indian Cinema supporting the event both on and off stage.
