The Sangeet took place at Naga Village, Aamby Valley City and incorporated a Middle East Vibe in the décor. The colours used in décor and fabrication were rich deep purple, light purple, dark blue, red, emerald green and gold.

With sheesha lounges, crystal chandeliers and crystals hanging from minaret shaped structures, the venue was fit for a Sheikh!

Hari & Sukhmani were flown in from Chandigarh to perform at the event after various family performances. The duo made the families and their friends dance to Punjabi folk music with a fusion of ambient electronica beats.Emcee Deepa Bakshi anchored the event sporting a feathered Kawaali hat.

Velvet sofas, gold chiavari chairs and silk linen was used in seating. All the guests came in boats were treated to a traditional Naga welcome, wherein villagers waited for guests in the dark and dense forest  and welcomed them with mashaals in their hands giving each guest the traditional welcome that was much in tandem with the venue.

The next day a Floral themed Wedding took place at Banaras Ghat, Aamby Valley City. Florals were the dominant element used to decorate the beautiful Banaras Ghat. The venue looked stunning with a lake as the backdrop and amphitheater seating for the guests.

A laser cut hexagonal mandap with baby pink fabric only added to the overall theme and ambience. A Tabla player, a Sitar player and a Sarangi player played soulful instrumental music while the couple took their vows.

The groom entered the venue in a Vintage Rolls Royce whereas the bride arrived in a boat. The baraatis danced to the beats of the Punjabi dholwalas while the bride’s family awaited their arrival. The colours of the evening were crimson red, magenta, red orange, baby pink, coral and white.

The Auditorium at Aamby Valley City hosted a Love & Lace themed Reception the following day.

The colours used included shades of purple with white and purple florals, lace fabric, mirrored tables, crystal chandeliers, silver candelabras and white urns amongst other elements.

Amar Khandha and troupe played live instrumental music with Neha Chauhan delivering soulful numbers for the guests as they greeted the newly married couple on their blissful union.

The Wedding Designers were involved in everything starting from conceptualising the decor, managing the entertainers, taking care of the hospitality and logistics of guests that flew down from all over the world, crafting menus with the chefs of Aamby Valley City etc.
