Garnier Fructis launches its ‘Oil in Cream’ product with Alia Bhatt

Garnier Fructis launched its new product called ‘Oil-In-Cream’ last week at the Palladium Hotel in Mumbai. Managed by Toast Events, the event was attended by actress Alia Bhatt and also her mother Soni Razdan.

It was an eventful high-tea session where five lucky winners along with their mothers were invited for a meet and greet with Alia and Soni. Prior to the session, the winners (daughters with mothers) were pampered with a hair makeover (using Garnier’s products) at a salon.

At the high tea, the mothers and daughters chatted about their stories of childhood and oiling. The event winded up with the winners posing with Alia and Soni on a specially designed photo backdrop. The décor at the event was interestingly created showcasing the products interlaced with brand colours - green, yellow and white.

Commenting on the event, Pummi Khanchandani, Client Servicing Lead, Toast Events said: “When we received the brief to launch the product in an unconventional way, we were up for the challenge. Ideating with the Garnier team, we presented the perfect concept by changing the name of the game of a product launch completely. The event presented Alia Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan in a completely new offering where they shared glimpses of their relationship, integrating brand attributes over an exclusive session for select mother-daughter duos.”
