Foreign Wedding Planners Koh Samui Thailand Wedding
Foreign Wedding Planners (FWP) planned, managed and executed the wedding celebrations of a London based client at Anantara Resort in Koh Samui. FWP is spearheaded by Neha Mehrotra, who is better known for executing Thailand weddings. She has now started executing weddings in India too.
The celebrations commenced with a Poolside party called 'Pool Carnival Village'. The agency incoprporated a complete water based theme with water guns, afloats, bubbles and even Russian models as mermaids!

There were candy stalls, caricaturists and Hawaiian dancers for entertainment. The ambience was kept like that of an Indo-Thai carnival.

The following day, traditional prebridal ceremonies called Pithi and Mandavo took place. This was followed by a beautiful red, pink and orange wedding on the beach.

The couple wanted natural elements, perhaps why the agency used bamboo to create a delicate aesthetic canopy for the guests in bright red, pink and orange. Elegant white wooden chairs were used rather then the mundane banquet ones.

Beautiful hand painted thai paper umbrellas for each guest with a peacock motif were designed and produced!

The groom entered on a majestic elephant adorned in rich colours, while the bride came on a Palki-chair held by her brothers.
An indoor black-tie formal event took place the next evening. The couple were led into the ballroom with traditional thai dancers and drummers.
Colours used were navy blue and silver with lots of candles and white flowers. Foreign Wedding Planners created an indoor 'Wildflower garden' theme with hanging flowers and candles for each table.

Crystals and little tealights were placed across the venue in an attempt to create the effect of flickering night bulbs in a garden outdoors!
