Raymond celebrates 90 years with its employees

Raymond recently held its annual rewards & recognition program, raising the aspirational value and employee experience. The ‘Awards for Excellence 2015’ ceremony was held at Renaissance Convention Centre in Mumbai and was managed by Fountainhead Entertainment recently. Additionally, since Raymond was also celebrating its 90 year completion, the idea was to bring out this celebration by making the employees the highlight of the event.
Speaking about the mandate, Rohan Salvi, Vice President - Business Development & Client Servicing (Events), Fountainhead Entertainment, said: “We won the mandate amongst a 3-agency pitch basis our concept presentation. The brief was to convert a regular reward & recognition program into an aspirational event for the employees. The client wanted the entire event including the pre-event engagement to reflect excellence and aspiration. The 90-year journey of Raymond had to also be brought out through the event highlighting the fact that it is the people who actually contributed to the successful journey. FH was responsible for all the pre-event activities in the office as well as the main event.”
Over 450 members attended the event live and the remaining 3,000 witnessed it through webcast. The entire event brought out the aspirational and excellence aspect for the employees. As soon as the guests entered the venue they were greeted with a wall of fame - a wall of employee photos from the past and present. At the red carpet, guest bytes were taken by anchors Rochelle Rao and Cyrus Sahukar, who asked the employees about their journey at Raymond, their idea of excellence, etc.
The pre-function area was also adorned with a vision wall which gave the employees a glimpse of the 90 year journey of Raymond. During the show, a new trophy was unveiled for the employees and the number of award categories was also increased to recognize individuals and teams. The event consisted of three different acts which kept the audiences engaged and enthralled. The entire idea was to mesmerize the audience and make them feel like they were a part of an award function similar to a celebrity award function.
Commenting on Fountainhead’s execution, a spokesperson from Raymond said: “It was an amazing experience to work with FH for the awards. Even with stretched timelines they managed to deliver the event flawlessly. I appreciate the team’s management of the event flow, acute planning, eye for details, co-ordination and openness to accept last minute changes. The event was much appreciated by our employees and they were really amazed with the stature raised after witnessing the event. I’m looking forward to working with FH in the future!”
