Jameson Irish Whiskey recently brought the legacy of St Patrick’s Day to Delhi, and painted the city green. With multiple engagements, the campaign was created and executed by Fountainhead Entertainment.
The pre-event campaign included activities like a vocal parade which included singing, dancing, marching and distributing Jameson booklets to onlookers in CyberHub. The booklet contained info on the holiday, the celebration and some product tasting notes.
Very tasteful ‘Irish-flavoured’ installations and artistic posters were placed at various key bars across the city, creating a buzz for social media users to find info on the celebration. The hangout spots also supported the campaign by turning Irish in nature, with green frames capturing the happy faces at the watering holes.
Musicians like Antoine Redon and Shaman Inka kicked in some Irish spirited tunes taking the local audience to the streets of Dublin. The day also saw performances by domestic live bands like The Ska Vengers, Two’s A Crowd and Tiny Drops. Artistic Dublin post cards were delivered with old school style in green letter boxes, along with Jameson’s brown bag of merchandise.
Impressed with Fountainhead’s efforts, Rory Bluett, Jameson’s brand ambassador in India said: “This was the largest activation in Jameson’s history in India and Fountainhead nailed it. The agency executed a wide-reaching disruptive activation, all the while operating within brand guidelines. They helped ensure that consumers were treated to an unforgettable Jameson experience. Hats off to the agency for its hard work, creativity and responsiveness!”
Commenting on the event, Deeksha Sharma Arora, VP & Branch Head - North, Fountainhead Entertainment said: “The sheer difference in our approach towards the client’s brief, our belief and our ideas were as unconventional as the brand’s own philosophy. This gave us a big lead in a multi-agency pitch. We’re very honoured to begin our association with Pernod Ricard and all credit goes to the wonderful team of Fountainhead that worked on the project from start to end.”
