ThumbSpark Creative crafted this offbeat and vibrant invite which was prepared, amalgamating two different lines of art. The first being the pop inspired "truck art" and the other inspired by Mughal art and paintings.
As per the invitation design house, the client was not keen to use pictures or caricatures. This was contemporary invite coupled with desi/Indian elements and generous use of bold colours.
Thumbspark Creative also created a unique jacket which doubled up as an envelope to hold multiple inserts which displayed details of the various celebrations which were to take place as part of this wedding.
The card was screen printed on A5 size, 280 GSM NEI paper to give a textured and rich feel and utmost care was taken while choosing the colours, so that each graphic element was highlighted properly and does not clutter the layout in any way.
The invitation paper jacket contained three different cards - "Desi Love" being the main invite, had all the details relating to the wedding day, venue etc, while The Cocktail Party and Sangeet invite was printed on A6 size paper to fit inside the side pockets.
Debabrata Dey of ThumbSpark Creative said, "I am fascinated with Indian Truck Art and Mughal Miniature paintings, this project gave me an apt opportunity to combine both and come up with a quirky yet classy invite."
