Event Crafter facilitates the entry of St. Regis in India

Announcing its arrival in India with its inaugural property, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts partnered with Rajasthan Polo Club, Jaipur, to sponsor the Maharaja Bhawani Singh St. Regis Cup 2015. The cup marks the brand’s association with the royal family of Jaipur and reflects its family traditions at the St. Regis program by inspiring budding polo players.

Event Crafter (EC) was appointed as the agency to take care of the St. Regis brand experience marking its arrival in India. The responsibilities included branding conceptualization, on-ground brand communication, venue management, logistics and vending agencies co-ordination. EC also took care of overall management of the inaugural dinner at the City Palace and the brand immersion event at ITC Rajputana.

St. Regis hosted a special polo match which featured St. Regis Connoisseur Nacho Figueras and his son Hilario, against Maharaj Narendra Singh and his son HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur. The match lived up to its promise capturing an audience of over 500 distinguished guests witnessing a spectacular day of polo.

The cup finals at Jaipur Polo Ground was hosted by Paul James (Global Brand Leader, Starwood Hotels) and the celebrated guest list for Maharaja Bhawani Singh St. Regis Cup 2015 included names like Vir Sanghvi, Sanjay Kapoor and Suhel Seth. The exclusively invited polo enthusiasts and guests enjoyed the day’s matches from the St. Regis marquee - including St. Regis signature rituals, afternoon tea and champagne sabering, the iconic St. Regis Bloody Mary cocktail, as well as a soulful jazz performance inspired by the legacy of jazz at the original St. Regis hotel in New York.
