In December last year, Theme Weavers International (P) Ltd. designed, planned and executed the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of a high profile client at Bhilwara, Rajasthan.
The event was based on a simple, yet powerful thought- ‘TIMELESSNESS’! Keeping in mind that for a couple who stays together for 50 years, the concept of time ceases to exist, the emotion was then translated into everything from the colour, to the music and of course the decor.
The celebration started off with a colorful Mehendi, which was named as Timeless Hues. Instead of the traditional Mehendi colors, the design house blended the look and feel with pastel shades such as peach, yellow and kiwi green. They incorporated a kaleidoscope theme which helped them inter mingle all the colors together. This function marked the beginning of the festivities, and was a small function with just 500 people.
This function was followed by the Sangeet Ceremony, which was named Timeless Music. Here, Theme Weavers International; gave a slightly tech feel to the entire look. Famous singer, Abhijeet Bhattacharya was roped in for entertainment, who mesmerized a crowd of 1500 plus guests. This night witnessed a complete clean acrylic theme with major light play and LED.
The final Reception ceremony, ready to welcome 4000 guests was named Timeless Moments. This was given a rich white and gold feel with extensive use of florals and candles. The event also saw larger than life old photographs of the family framed, and put around the place. This ceremony was a flash back at the numerous years the couple spent together.
Annushree Agarwal of Theme Weavers said, “Through this event, we wanted to bring alive all the emotions one spends in their journey of togetherness. We felt blessed to have been given this opportunity, and I am glad to see that clients are opening to more mature concepts and themes, even to mark their personal celebrations”
Keeping in mind that for a couple who stays together for 50 years, the concept of time ceases to exist, this theme was curated.
