Sony engages 1,500 attendees through the F3 Fiesta

Sony recently held a family fiesta on Jan. 24 at the lawns of the Four Points by Sheraton in New Delhi. A for Pineapple(AFP) was roped in to execute the full-day event which began at 11:30 and ended at 7 pm on a chilly Delhi evening. To inculcate family bonding and exposure to outdoors which is a rarity in today’s world, the team zeroed in on the theme Sony F3 Fiesta - Fun, Family, Fitness. To build up the excitement, each family was sent a personalized invite along with colour coded wrist bands for kids and adults. Adding to the mystery was a countdown clock kept in the Sony head office.
Three massive unique zones were created at the venue specifically for kids, adults and families. AFP transformed the bare-bone grounds into a dream world festooned with colourful décor, banners and signages. There were 7 massive LED screens across the zones which displayed a live feed of the other areas while designated photographers and videographers captured every moment. The event kick-started with an energizing Zumba session which got each one of the 1500 guests charged up for the day. The kids zone was all about colour, cartoons and merriment with a circus feel to it.
The designated emcee kept the pulsating spark going by engaging the kids in activities. Mini toy trains, bouncy castles, loads of carnival games, tattoo & caricature artists and a special 4 console PSP arena ensured that all kids aged 1-15 had the time of their lives. Oodles of free flowing munchies at their own food zone kept their energy levels up. The main attraction was the talent show, in which kids displayed their brilliant flair for singing, dancing, playing the guitar and casio. A live feed displayed the minute-by-minute happenings on the colossal LED screens in the main area. Each participating kid was given a special certificate set in an adorable frame. The agency took care of minute details ensuring that, each kid got a goodie bag according to their age and gender.
Parents also took part in activities like kite flying, mini golf and on the RC Racing track. The women enthusiastically participated in the master chef competition and were thrilled with the hair braiding and nail art stalls. The major attraction of this area was the trio Selfie Booth, which had 3 different themes- the Bhoothnath, Delhi Ke Pirates and Phunny Booth, each with their own unique props and backdrops. AFP set up a massive 60 ft. stage with multicolored designs, which was as vibrant and lively as the charged up atmosphere. As the wintery evening set in, the MD came up on stage to raise a toast, after which the bar was thrown open.
Dynamic duo celebrity hosts Roshni Chopra and Sahil Bajaj, livened up the air with their infectious energy while famous Magician Hassan Rizvi, took everyone on a magical journey of stunning illusions and tricks. The well-known Funny Boys, made guests laugh their hearts out and the African Acrobats, stunned everyone by jumping through fire hoops and performing bold acrobatics. However, the star of the day was the famous Bollywood celebrity Prachi Desai who gave a mesmerizing performance. The internal team at Sony also put up a spectacular fashion show and walked down the runway. Renowned singer Aditi Singh Sharma mesmerized everyone with her melodious voice and got guests singing to her tune. The evening ended on a high note with a jugalbandi DJ Dhol session, where guests danced away to their hearts content late into the evening.
Commenting on the setup of the event, Annu Anand, Chief Catalyst, A for Pineapple said, “The set up was a major challenge considering the scale and the number of elements to be incorporated. However, even with the unpredictable downpour, the team braved it all to stay on schedule. There were mammoth last minute additions like covering more than 30,000 sq. ft. of open area, and procuring 12 German Pagodas a night before the event. But come rain, come shine, we worked round the clock and put up a stellar event."
A for Pineapple bagged the mandate in a multi-agency pitch to handle the full-day event which took place at Four Points by Sheraton in New Delhi.
