The events and experiential marketing space in India is fast seeing paradigm shifts. To take complete onus of ideation as well as fabrication, creative agencies and fabrication specialists are partnering and even merging to become holistic solution providers.

One of the early birds to have realized the importance of this model is the newly formed agency Tableau Experiential Marketing which aims at setting the perfect stage for brands to present themselves in a manner that creates lasting impressions.

Tableau covers the entire gamut of services that an experiential agency can provide. It can manage consumer activations like mall activations and road-shows, corporate events like trade meets, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, etc. The one-stop-solution agency is the brainchild of Sneha Kalbag, Ramesh Gupta and Sharat Shetty.

Headquartered in Mumbai with a branch office in Bengaluru along with operations offices in Delhi, Pune and Kolkata, the agency is capable of serving event needs pan India. Tableau has an in-house production facility, Chakrikka Designs & Structures, which is based out of Mumbai and Bengaluru. Chakrikka produces staging/ décor and boasts of 2,00,000 sqft of hangar structure holding in India, setting it apart from other fabricators.

Kalbag, having a decade of experience in events and having worked with companies like Encompass and George .P. Johnson, has a balanced insight about client expectations, creative management and execution feasibility. Her creative insights and knowledge of the pulse of the market have been instrumental in the formation of Tableau. Kalbag said: “Tableau is not in the business of delivering only exhibits, it is in the business of delivering promises. Having interacting with clients for 10 years, nothing has given me greater joy than to meet and surpass their expectations.”

Ramesh Gupta brings on board production and technical know-hows, ensuring delivery of what is promised to the client. Gupta has a decade of experience and was previously Production Head – West at G2Rams, a WPP Group Company.

Sharat Shetty is the man behind the scenes. His eye for perfection and proactive approach ensures that issues are rectified before they occur. Having 12 years of extensive event experience Shetty was associated with Services India as National Head - Venue Construct & Hangar Structures.

Commenting on the formation of Tableau, Shetty and Gupta echo, “Taking cues from other industries: forward and backward integration is the way of the world today. Soon we will see a lot of other event companies following a similar model.”
