‘Cigna TTK Treadmillion Challenge’ creates perfect platform for Mumbai's health conscious

Cigna TTK Treadmillion Challenge Procam International Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM Sport Marketing

As a thrilling build-up to the 12th edition of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM), the young and old of the metropolis can participate in the exclusive 10-minute Cigna TTK Treadmillion Challenge brought to Mumbai by Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, conceptualized by Procam International and powered by JBL Sports in association with Jabong, Volini and DHL. The challenge that begun on Dec. 19, creates the perfect platform for Mumbai’s health conscious to join the fitness movement and make New Year resolutions to keep fit in 2015.
With the Treadmillion Challenge 2014, participants who may or may not be running the SCMM can challenge others to beat their best 10-minute run on a treadmill, which is a combination of distance covered and calories burnt. Spread over more than 20 days until Jan. 10, the challenge will travel to multiple locations that include five corporate houses, five Resident Welfare Associations (RWA), three joggers parks, three malls and path breaking ‘Equal Streets’ movement.
The Challenge engages and encourages working professionals, the youth, homemakers and senior citizens keen on being fit to participate in the event and win a host of exciting prizes. One winner, who burns most calories and covers the maximum distance at each touch point will battle it out for ultimate glory. Winners face counterparts from other touch points at the SCMM ‘Get Active Expo’ on Jan. 10 at Bandra’s MMRDA Grounds for a mega final and the winners will take home attractive prizes worth INR 5,00,000.
While it encourages Mumbaikars to keep fit, the Cigna TTK Treadmillion Challenge promises to do good to the environment by planting one sapling for every person who runs on the treadmill. The Treadmillion Challenge also goes to ‘Equal Streets’ a movement that seeks to usher in greater democracy in accessing roads as public, rather than private, spaces.
