Shoppers Stop The Woolmark Company Raymond
The Italian living football legend, world cup winner, and marquee player of the Delhi Dynamos Club- ISL, Alessandro Del Piero was at Shoppers Stop in Mumbai on Dec. 19 to promote Australian Merino wool as a high-tech sports Active-wear fabric in India. Recently signed as the brand ambassador for The Woolmark Company’s Merino Wool, No Finer Feeling global fibre advocacy campaign, Alessandro Del Piero visited the Shoppers Stop store in Juhu, dressed in a Merino wool, light-weight woolen shirt by Raymond Ltd. A series of conversations around football, Australian Merino wool, and meeting his hard-core fans kept him excited about his visit.
Speaking on the occasion Alessandro Del Piero said, “I really feel excited to be in Mumbai as I have got a chance to meet all my fans who live here. I must say people here are football fanatics and have a great knowledge.” He further added “I feel great to be associated with The Woolmark Company as I feel connected to the brand because when I wear Merino Wool I feel very comfortable. I feel right with myself because I can do everything, I can go anywhere. It’s great and I love it.”

The Woolmark Company recently concluded the consumer campaign in collaboration with Shoppers Stop, India’s leading fashion retailer, in order to promote wool and woolen apparel across select Shoppers Stop stores in India.

The Woolmark Company engaged with Alessandro Del Piero in August to give the campaign a fresh look and affirm the fibre's position in the sportswear industry. Del Piero, who is also a brand ambassador of the ISL tournament is in India to promote the image and popularity of football in the country.
The Italian football legend graced the Shoppers Stop store at Juhu to promote Merino Wool for The Woolmark Company in India.
